Hélissente was born about 1267 in Vergy, the daughter of Jean I de Vergy and Marguerite de Noyers.

She died about 1312 in Vaudémont.

Her husband was Gaucher V de Châtillon, who she married in 1300. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Guy (c1305-1362).
